The construction is began from 30 November 2017. Today status is under construction. The total project cost of Rooppur Nuclear power plant is $12.65. Cooling tower 2 x natural Draft and cooling source is river padma and thermal capacity of rooppur nuclear power plant has 2 x 32,000 MW.
